Uneventful desert day. The road was flat and the wind was not a factor...although we are camped by a huge “wind farm” (field full of large white windmills) which suggests that we were lucky not to get blown around today. I'm prepared for the cold with my huge new snow pants, but so far it is a mild evening.
We are scheduled to arrive in Beijing one month from today. Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving!
